Book Jacket Summary
Summer break . . . and the livin' ain't easy

Just because the students at New York College have flown the coop doesn't mean assistant residence hall director Heather Wells can relax. Fischer Hall is busier than ever, filled with squealing thirteen- and fourteen-year-old girls attending the first ever Tania Trace Teen Rock Camp, hosted by pop sensation Tania Trace herself--who just happens to be newly married to Heather's ex-boyfriend, heartthrob Jordan Cartwright. But the real headache begins when the producer of a reality TV show starring Tania winds up dead . . . and it's clear that the star was the intended victim.

Grant Cartwright, head of Cartwright Records, wants to keep his daughter-in-law (and his highest-earning performer) alive. So he hires his oldest son, black sheep of the family and private investigator Cooper Cartwright--who just happens to be Heather's "new" fiance. Heather should leave the detecting to Cooper. But with a dorm full of hysterical mini-divas-in-training, she can't help but get involved. And after Tania shares a really shocking secret with her, "this" reality suddenly becomes more dangerously real than anyone ever anticipated.

My Thoughts
This is going to be hard to review with out squealing like a fangirl but I will do my best...
I love Heather Wells and I am so glad that Meg Cabot was able to continue this series! I remember reading the synopsis' for the first four books at the end of book one when it first came out and this was the one that looked like tons of fun! Heather has to deal with teenage girls taking over her dorm, excuse me... residence hall for a TV series starring Tania Trace. The Tania Trace Teen Rock Camp brings mayhem and murder to the "Death Dorm" but Heather does what she does best, find the murder and bring him to justice with Cooper at her side!
Cooper and Heather are now a full fledged couple and are adorable together! This is great news and they are really in love. I had to fight off flights of giggles several times as I read this book but that is not unusual with this series. Meg Cabot is back to her usual comedic ways and I'm glad to see see has not lost her touch! The last few I read had to do with vampires and girls being dragged to the Underworld. Not that that is a bad thing but I love Cabot best when she is funny and this book is definitely filled with humor (and murder). The book also has a "plus" sized heroine that is beautiful and has a fabulous boyfriend. This is often not the case and it was nice to see a person like me in a book. I loved this book and anyone looking for a funny more adult mystery series will love this one. Plus the next book will be coming out next year!
