Book Jacket Summary
From the arrival at the stadium to the last goodnight, Goodnight Baseball is a sweet, nostalgic tale—told in gentle, fun rhyme—about the thrill of the game and a day at the ballpark.

My Quick Thoughts
Part of the Sports Illustrated kids books line. This book is perfect for the budding baseball fan in your family. Describes what a typical fan might participate in finding their seats, eating, popcorn, and hot dogs, and maybe catching a ball. Red is everywhere in book because the teams colors are red and white and named the Rockets. I like that the kid prolongs their stay by saying goodnight to everything in the stadium, even the popcorn under the chairs. This is a cute book for the baseball lover in your family. It is simple story but sweet. Good for libraries and for those who like Goodnight Moon.
