My Thoughts
This is the second book of the Daisy series, the first being Daisy's Perfect World. What you need to know about Daisy is that she loves words! She has a notebook full of them and she lists them out under different headings. When Samantha's younger brother learns about rhyming when he comes up Lazy Daisy, which Daisy does not like! Who could blame her? So, when Miss Goldner teaches them alliteration Daisy is determined to keep Grant from calling her Lazy Daisy.
This is a sweet early reading chapter book that will be great for children who are excited  about words. There are many words in this that will captivate them, plus a few that Daisy and her best friend Emma make up. Daisy becomes Dynamite Dramatic Determined Dazzling Daisy and Emma becomes Exciting Extraordinary Emma.
Daisy is a real girl who comes across a name that she does not like. This happened to me- Chucky was the name but I found my own way of handling the situation.
