Book Jacket Summary
Francis the fox enjoys everything about his Saturdays at Mr. Li's Laundromat, except for Mr. Li's granddaughter, Lily. When Lily plays a dirty trick on Francis, it's up to the little fox to clean up and save the day.

My Thoughts
A cute little world where animals and humans are living together and wearing clothes but there is a pet cat. It is a Pluto and Goofy complex that no one can quite understand. Fox is getting used to going to the laundry mart when his parents have to downsize from a house to an apartment. Francis thinks it is a hardship at first but his father tries to make it entertaining as they think of fun things to do. It is a cute way to make a mundane task fun and a way to ease children into going to the laundry mart. There is an adventure to be had when Lily, a prankster, puts too much detergent in the machine to make bubbles and the cat gets scared. They race around looking for Mouse, the cat, and Francis saves the day. This is a very cute book with wonderful drawings that really catch the eye. Francis is extremely cute in his little suit and I adore his wary expression when looking around for Lily. I do wish that they had caught the cat in a different manner because the owner grabs Mouse by the tail. However, if you explain that that a child should never do this then it should not be a problem. Very cute!
