Book Jacket Summary
Winter's Tale is Robert Sabuda's most spectacular original pop-up story yet. The simple, elegant text is illustrated with breathtaking artwork and extraordinary paper engineering. Stunning visual effects of foil, glitter, and a twinkling surprise further capture the magic of winter. This is a must-have for everyone's bookshelf.

My Thoughts
I have always been in awe of the pop-up book, especially a well crafted one that draws the reader in. This is that type of picture book and Robert Babuda puts a lot of other similar books to shame. This winter themed pop-up book is done in mostly white paper of animals one would find on a cold winters night. The moose is my favorite animal because it seems like an almost impossible animal to do in a complicated pop-up endeavor. It has three layers of antlers and stands behind a wood pile that the narrator is going to collect from. When you lift the flap on the right side of the page there is a family of beavers that magically appear. It is amazing that on each page there are two sets on pop-ups.
This book is perfect to read around the magical time of Christmas! I highly recommend purchasing this on for your home collection!
