Dragons Love Tacos
by Adam Rubin

Book Jacket Summary
Dragons love tacos. They love chicken tacos, beef tacos, great big tacos, and teeny tiny tacos. So if you want to lure a bunch of dragons to your party, you should definitely serve tacos. Buckets and buckets of tacos. Unfortunately, where there are tacos, there is also salsa. And if a dragon accidentally eats spicy salsa . . . oh, boy. You're in red-hot trouble.
The award-winning team behind Those Darn Squirrels! has created an unforgettable, laugh-until-salsa-comes-out-of-your-nose tale of new friends and the perfect snack.
The first page of this book really drew me in because the kid and the dog look befuddled by the narrator. It is the look I would give my dad as he started explaining that the music from the radio actually came from tiny musicians on the roof of the car but I digress. The boys room is filled with dragon objects- toys, books, posters, and even a lap shade. I can tell that this kid is serious about his dragons. Apparently in this world dragons really love tacos and even have a book called No Spicy Salsa! A Guide to Dragon Cuisine by Alen Puff. Now this is world building!
This book is super cute with all the different types of dragons and all the activities they love but taco parties are the best! This party might go down in history because spicy salsa has been added accidentally and there might have been a slight burning down of the house. Oops. I recommend this one because it made me laugh and the dragons are a hoot.
